World Car-Free Day

The annual World Car-Free Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 22. How do you plan to observe it? Can you commute to work by other means? Can you telecommute? Can you run some errands on foot rather than in your car? Is it time to dust off your bike, your roller skates, or your walking shoes?

Post your plans in the comments section.

Thanks for the question - I did take public transport today but yesterday was so frustrated in traffic, I wondered to myself if by increasing traffic could we reduce our reliance on cars in the long run?

Just a different take I suppose and if you were interested, I wrote about it on my blog: http://www.creativitykilledtherecession.com

Cheers

@Adil - that's an interesting idea. I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm guessing it's not the US. Here, our general response to traffic congestion is to build more roads. You know what did demonstrably increase public transportation use? High gas prices.
